What this page covers

This page explains what happens to data on snoopweed.net, the website of Snoop Weed, our two cannabis shops on Koh Samui. It covers this website only, not what happens in the shops themselves.

What we collect

Audience measurement, and nothing else. We use Google Analytics to count visits, see which pages are read and understand roughly where visitors come from. It tells us that a page was viewed, not who viewed it.

We do not ask for your name, your email or your phone number anywhere on this site. There is no account to create, no newsletter, and no form that stores what you type.

What we do not collect

No orders are taken through this website. Products are sold in store only, so there is no basket, no checkout and no payment data of any kind.

If you message us on WhatsApp, that conversation happens inside WhatsApp and follows its own rules, not ours. We keep no copy of it on this site.

Nothing is measured before you agree

Analytics cookies are switched off by default. The site loads with consent set to denied, and Google Analytics only starts if you press Accept in the banner at the bottom of the page.

If you press Decline, or if you simply ignore the banner, no analytics cookie is written and no visit is recorded.

The cookies this site uses

Two things only. Your answer to the banner, stored in your own browser so you are not asked again on every page. And, if you accepted, the Google Analytics cookies, which measure visits and expire on their own.

There is no advertising cookie on this site, and nothing is shared with advertising networks.

Changing your mind

Clear the site data for snoopweed.net in your browser, and the banner comes back. You can then choose again. Deleting cookies for this site also removes the analytics cookies.

Every browser lets you block cookies entirely. The site works normally either way, nothing here depends on them.

Who else sees the data

Google, as the provider of Google Analytics. That is the only third party involved on this website. We do not sell data, and we do not pass it to anyone else.

Thailand's Personal Data Protection Act applies to personal data collected here. Since this site records audience measurement only, and only with your consent, there is very little to hold in the first place.

Age

This site is for adults aged 20 and over, in line with Thai rules on cannabis. The age check on entry stores nothing beyond your answer, in your own browser.
